Class of 1979

Greetings Fellow Alumni of the Class of 1979,

As we approach our 45th Reunion, we are reminded of the profound impact Bethune-Cookman College/University has had in shaping the individuals we have become. It has certainly been a cornerstone in our journeys, and we owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the remarkable administrators, professors, and of course, you, our cherished classmates. The friendships we forged, the shared experiences we cherished, and the lessons we learned together have left an indelible mark on our lives. Today, we stand as testaments to the mission of our founder, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, to cultivate leaders. We Entered to Learn – Departed to Serve.

Remember Our Class Motto: “There is no time like the present to accomplish what we build the future on.

For there is an infinity of tomorrows but only one today!” Do it now.

We invite each of you to contribute to our Class Gift, an act of gratitude and foresight that will empower the next generation of Wildcats to enjoy the same rich opportunities we had. We are at a pivotal moment. Let’s make our reunion a beacon of faith, generosity and hope. Let’s rekindle that Old BC Spirit that lives in each of us. Plus we are not going to let those "Under 40's" beat us giving... lol Hail Wildcats!

Charitable gifts to B-CU are tax deductible and are an investment in the lives of our students and community. Each gift is used in accordance with the wishes of its donor.*
